Mirror Trick

Hey guys its me again, i jus got my Crown tail today http://www.angelfire.com/ak5/rokl33t/Picture011.jpg thats a picture of it i dunno if itll work but try it.

Well my question is, with the whole mirrow pissing the betta off is that ok for th betta? or will that stress the living ba-jesus out of him?

I can't see the picture, but leaving a mirror next to a betta will stress him. If you show it to him occasionally, it's fine.

Mirror - stress - not really IMO. I have dozens of jars side by side and my bettas are not stressed.

I think of flaring like guys posing in the mirror, flexing muscles. After a while, he will ignore the reflection if it is up all the time, or at least, not get as worked up as when you first put it up.

I would suggest getting a 2nd betta tank (seperate of course), two bettas are a lot more interesting than one with a mirror

This is, of course, a suggestion from a certified betta addict, so keep that in mind

it can be stressful for soe bettas.some eventualy learn that it's them and not another betta,while others will work themselves into a ferver trying to kill the "invader"
just use it once in a while to be safe
