We have a 30 gal tall freshwater tank w/ a black molly, a tetra, a silver dollar tetra, 3 pink tetras, we HAD 3 swordtails ( 1 male) but today a male and a female disappeared! and we have a "shark". Not a real shark but he's the biggest fish a bottom feeder - black fin tips, whiskers, grey fish. Is he the culprit? Last week , we lost 2 sunset platys overnight and the last one was gone before the days end. THese fish have disappeared, seemed healthy. The swordtails had long white stringy poop for a few days. We are really novices at this. Can someone help us solve this mystery?

I'd suspect the "shark." Any idea on a more complete name? Does he have a really big mouth?

You can also check around the back of the tank, in case fish are jumping out.

I'm assuming you've looked inside the tank and not found any bodies.

Oh, and welcome to the site :)
