Missing Fish

Just wanted to say how much I hate fish that once you get in the tank, they disappear within the rock work and you'll never know when you may see them again... this includes not knowing if they're alive or dead!!!

If hes dead youll never find him...if hes alive he should come out over time.

Mine didn't really do that... maybe for half a day or so, but not all that bad. I *had* a neon goby that dissappeared completely after a day or so... never saw him again .

my pleco and oto had a knack of disappearing days at a time. my pleco is now too big to efficiently play hide and seek.

Well I spotted him very briefly inside his newly acquired bolt-hole. I hope he'll come out, hasn't really eaten yet. I took a dropper and squirted some brine shrimp for him to get if he's starving. I don't want to only feed him this way though, I want him to come out. Although these fish don't need a huge swimming area, I'd like to see him come out, which I'm sure he will once he gets used to it. I know sometimes it takes months for fish behavior like this to change.

give him some time and he should come out. i got a tiger anthias on wed and it is just starting to come out for a bit today
