Speaking on personal experience I have never had any problems what so ever with different corys in the same tank. I currently have 2 bronze and 2 spotted corys in a 20 gallon of mine and they all are fine with each other. Most of the time they all stay in a little group.

Mine eat the flakes that fall to the bottom, as well as some cichlid pellets I put in just for them. All love the cichlid pellets. But from what i have read and seen, they will eat just about anything that is given to them.

i have two albinos and two tailspots and they get along great, most of the time they pair off by breed, the tailspots usually go up and down in the bubble curtain in my tank all day, and the albinos search along the bottom(clean up crew), but sometimes all four play in the bubble curtain!*BOUNCINGS

i just got two corys from Petco
i think they are julii($2.40ea)
i also got a female betta($1.79)
i was so shocked to find a female there. they were in with some other fish. the male bettas all had clean cups and the females all looked healthy. the guy that worked there also knew a lot about the fishes. He made sure i even had the right tankmates and tank for them.
well...i just wanted to say that
oh yea my tank is a 30gal right now(but we move to a 50gal when fishes get bigger)
will cory's and loaches eat live bloodworms?
