Mixed Mollies

Has anyone had experience mixing Dalmatian Mollies and Black Mollies? Seems to me being the same species they would get along. Also "AqAdvisor" warns about the male Betta nipping Dalmatian fins, but no warning about being with the Black Mollies. I haven't had any problems with the Black Mollies and my Betta seems rather docile. I did put the mirror on the back of the aquarium which several warned me about and I have yet to see him react. The only problem with the mirror is me - not being able to count fast enough to keep track of my Cherry Barbs!*BOUNCINGS

I think they should mix just fine, so long as you don't overcrowd them. They're the same type of fish, just different coloring. Like with guppies...you can mix colors just try to avoid merging species if you know they won't get along.
