mixing cats and cichlids

would 2 small african cichlids (1-1.5 inces) do ok in my take 20 gal for a while? talking maybe like 6 months or so with just my sun cats and my cories. can find anyhting in a search to help me out...*twirlysmi

its hard to tell with cichlids sometimes, they all have very unique personalities. all you can do is try and be prepared to have somewhere to take them if it doesnt work out.

How big are the cats? Big enough to eat the cichlids?

Technically its possible as long as they get an upgrade asap, but i probably wouldn't recommend it. It also depends on what kind of "African cichlid" you are talking about.

I am taking it you mean Mbuna or Mixed africans...usually they do better in large groups.
