I've got a molly fry about 15mm long, in a breeder net in my community tank..Is that big enough to be set free without worry of her getting eaten?? If not how much longer should I wait.
Any help would be great, thanks :)
NOTE: The other day my tank popped a seal, and I had the baby in a bucket for about an hour with the other fish (no breeder net) and she (she's big enough to tell the sex) survived, is that maybe because the fish were to stressed to eat her though??

are mollys agrressive because all the rest of my fish are far too small to eat the fry (except maybe the frogs)?? If the fry is big enough to be a 3 biter or more snack would they still try and eat her just because they can?

the females have fins on the bottom (I'm told called "Sailfins" but that might be wrong) wheres the males have a gonopodium (anal fin). My molly has just recently grown these "female fins"

the female fin(there is only one, its the last one you should be looking at...) should have been there from birth..or the first week at least.
We never got the AGE of that molly fry only the length therefore we can't really guess if its possible to sex it yet o not ;)

How old is it, sushi? you can only tell what you got after about 3 months...
