MOLLY LIPS EMERGENCY

I have 2 mollies that have like puffed out lips. I have 3 other mollies and their lips are fine. The 2 mollies lips are like wide and it seems like they can't close it. WHAT IS THIS?!?!?!? PLEASE HELP ASAP

Are the mollies both male? Have they been fighting?

Is this in your 55g tank? If so, did you add Bio-Spira or how did you cycle it? Your ammonia, nitrite and nitrate readings would be helpful.

All the water readings are fine. But i do think they are the opposite sex. Both are silver lyre tail mollies but one has a different tail shape and bottom fins. Is this a disease? And yes it is in my 55 g tank. used bio spira too. Although i did find an empty ghost shrimp. Maybe they were fighting that. I think this is a fungus or something, If it spreads.... im screwed

I dont know about the lips, probably either they were fighting (which is unlikely) or a fungus or something like that.

In the video the first 2 mollies were a male and a female, then the last white one was also a male.

Also the empty shimp was where the shrimp probably moulted.

The shrimp case was probably a moulting from one of the shrimps.

It looks enflamed to me.

Does anyone think melafix might work ?

Looks like an infection, you could try melafix or salt. How quickly did this come on? Can you give us actual water param numbers?
