more fish??

i have a 5 gallon tank and have 3 mickey mouse platys(1M, 2F), one cory catfish that feeds on the bottom, and 4 fake plants. do you think i can add more fish to this? i was thinking about getting some neon tetras. i have an adequate filter, aeration, and heater.

no, i think you are already overstocked.

Wow I think just the 3 platys you are overstocked. What I suggest is to at least get a 10 and get another cory. What type of cory is it just to ask?

cories are schoooling fish, and need a shoal to feel comfortable. i suggest finding a good home for all your fish andgetting a betta, or buying a bigger tank.

Yeah thats the problem with that.They should really be in a 20g.

Agreed, you don't want to hear this...but you are already way overstocked. Buy a bigger tank for your poor fish. Doesn't matter how much filtration and heat you have if your fish don't have adequate room to swim.

wow im gonna join the bandwagon and say yes your tank is on the edge of being overstocked its a little stuffy in there right now, i would like everyone esle recomend getting atleast a 10 gallon , you can pick these up at petsmart last time i got one it was about $50 for the tank, filter, heater, light, ect, everything you need. in my 5 i usualy only have 1-2 platys and maybe a corry.
