Awesome! Thanks Toam. *thumbsups
Hard to tell in the vids, but from what I saw there wasn't a whole lot of apparent skirmishing during feeding time. Are they usually fairly tolerant during this time, or is there usually some pushing around going on?

When I'm feeding them pellets, which I am in the video, I put in a whole bunch at bunch, there is lot's of surface aeration, as I run an aquaclear 500, and a powerhead in the other corner, so the pellets spread out rather quickly. The ciclids first do a lot of surface jumping, and than once the pellets work there way into the flow from the aquaclear, they start tumbling down in the current, when this happens, the fish just dart in and grab what they can. There isn't much chasing, or pecking order as to who eats first, though usually the quickest gets his fill first, and that changes depending whose feeling rambuncious that day. All in all, not much aggression at all goes on during feeding time.

Oh, okay.
Come to think of it, I was asking the guy at the LFS about what a good cichlid food would be back before I bought my kribs, and he did a little sinking-pellet 'demo' for me in a 100 gallon tank or something. They did exactly as you described.

Guess it's not quite like my little angels and tetras, where the real pigs gulp their bloodworms down and then chase after the ones that are still eating theirs. Sometimes it turns into that scene from Lady and the Tramp where they're slurping up the same string of spaghetti. lol

Okay, I'm getting a little off the wall here, so I better stop. :p
