Our new LFS has them, that's where we got ours. I think it's a bit out of your way though. Just ask at your local LFS if they can get them for you.

I haven't noticed the dojo's going nuts over them, amano shrimp seem to love them though.

I assume he's refering to java moss or something similar.

If it's java moss you're refering to, don't bother getting too much of it. It spreads like wildfire! Great stuff for many applications IMO.

These are moss balls.

Moss balls and java moss are two seperate things. The pic above has 2 moss balls in it. They do grow, but the ball simply gets larger and they don't grow too fast. Shrimp seem to love to clean them off all the time.

yeah been wondering what those are good for, i saw them at a LFS the other day but didn't ask and forgot about them. soo what are they good for besides happy shrimp?

I got mine from ebay - and now the small patch of brown algae I had has gone. Great plants for tanks with Cichlids that would dig anything else up.

Mind you - I put one in with the Texas and he trashed it - lol
