moving up stream?

ok, i was a little upset last night to find my amanos trying to escape. i was even more upset to find two dried up on the ground. i added fertalizer last night after i did a water change. did the fertalizer trigger them to think that they must move up stream? and when i say up stream i mean up the part that the water comes out of.

Well, you have to be careful adding fertilizer to a shrimp tank, as many ferts contain copper, which is harmful to inverts. Copper and shrimp DO NOT MIX. I learned that the hard way.

i checked and this fertalizer has no copper.
