Moving with tanks?

I might be moving a few states away from where im livin now and ive got to admit, i just dont know how im gonna do it with my fish and tanks. If i go ill be driving the jeep with a U-haul.

Does anyone know how to manage something like that with my tanks? or is the conventional wisdom to just get rid of the fish and start over at the new location?

look into bass pro shops or cabela's they sell areators for minnow bucket that run on batteries or 12v plug..this may allow you to keep your fish alive while in transit.

How long's your drive?

I'm moving in the summer and was told a water cooler with a battery powered airstone will keep the fish for about 48 hours. I'm more concerned about my plants then them now!

i was wondering the same thing about delta too, but we will always have his epic tale of fish moving to reference
