I have been wanting to increase the lighting in my tank. I have seen discussions that indicate that there are lighting hood that hold multiple flourescent tubes. I have not been able to find any in the LFS.
Well, you might have to build your own light-hood and put the bulbs close to each other, that depends how many of them you plan to install. Most on the market give one fluorescent bulb and that’s it.
there are i know light strips that have two tubes or like fish said build one it'll be cheaper and u canmake a custom canopy to make it look nice a DIY light has so many posibilities and there are alot of sites outthere with DIY lights some easy enough easiest way IMO is to build a canopy and get a double screw in light socket and get some good compact flourescent bulbs they make things loo much brighter
