Murex Trunculus, any one been able to get this snail

have you been reading up on Roman dyes? lol

i checked around on some of the online dealers that i know of but i can't find any...maybe you could ask the marine biology dept at the university, they might have a source

according to calfo and fenner in "reef invertebrates" they pose a hazard to sesile inverts as they are very efficient carnivores and so are not reccomend in systems with inverts

yea, i saw that but I have been tryign to get a hold of one just for fun, I dont have too many sessile inverts, marine biology department is a good idea, I think i might just email some greek fisherman and pay him 20$ to ship a few over
