mushroom question

the removal of a mushroom from my rock was a success--it has attached itself to a piece of rubble...if i were to cut this coral in half, straight down the middle, how long would it take to have two separate and complete mushrooms? i know 1979camaro had a long and wonderful thread on this topic, but i have a short attention span

i would say atleast 2 weeks and try adding iodine it will help with the healing, maybe camaro's shrooms take less time than mine, but mine are always a solid 2 weeks

sorry, i misread that...to have two circular shrooms would take at least two weeks. i read it as two new and clearly distinct mushrooms....
