hrmm, i dont think hes constipated...or is he? well, most of the bottom feeders (corydoras, otos, plecos), when they poop, their poo is scraped off as they move through the gravel. it is quite common however to see them pooping in long threads, but i think it is constipated. its nothing to worry about, it will take care of itself, it'll eventually get un-constipated and will be normal, happy, jolly, and poopy soon :) (i gotta stop using the word constipated before i break out laughing) hope that helps! :)

This usually happens when you overfeed him.Mine use to have three feet long or longer pieces of poop hanging on him when I overfed him.Later I learned you should only feed him one little tablet of algae a week. That did the trick.

Veggies may be good for humans in that respect, but considering the rather gaseous side effects, you may find your fish "spontaneously" shooting around the tank, so I wouldn't recommend sprouts.

Do fish "react" to veg in that way ? (took me a while to figure out how to phrase that politely)
