Hubby just noticed the angels were cleaning off the tube for the ugf and a few minutes later the female laid an egg on it.. Its in the big tank so we will have to keep an eye out for the tetras not to touch it.. Or we will have to move the tetras out all together..

any help/suggestions would be useful..

Nice, but the eggs probably wont survive to turn into little angelfish. There is a big problem with them fungusing and in your case being eaten by the tetras and the angelfish. If youd like move the eggs to another holding tank and dose the tank with Methylene Blue to prevent fungusing. Tell us your plans and what turns out.

We moved the tetras. So far the angels are taking really good care of them..

I think it is one of the coolest things I've seen ever.. I didn't want to move them.. The one library book we checked out on Angels says that in 14 days then will spawn again so if these eggs are gone by then we'll move the new batch..

We are going to partition the tank off today some how.. As for the baby brine shrimp, we'll have to start that asap too lol.. This town has nothing of the sort though so it will have to wait till I get to the next town on the 26th

Our LFS sucks as I've mentioned before. I went in yesterday to ask if she had any brine shrimp. SHe laughed out loud then said "i'm getting fish in tomorrow".. I looked at her tanks and they were allllllll dirty and smelly.. Cloudy and lots of dead fish.. EWWW.. I wanted to take all those poor bettas home with me...

We ended up going to Home Hardware and gettign something there.. Seems to be working good.

But all the eggs are turning white :(

Thats unfortunate cowlover, I have experianced this as well. Although in your picture it seems that there is def. a male and that he was at least trying to fertilizel the eggs. With my angels they were all female and layed eggs anyway.
You do have a good chance of them spawning until the male gets the idea, it will probably take in a few times. They seem to have good form in the pic. Now, you do remember which one was male and female right? At the very least you had a great oppertunity to clarify what gender you fish are.

Well, good luck and expecte them to spawn again soon, then maybe you will have some babies. Some angels make excellent parents, and some eggs need to be removed, but it sounds like you have the former!

No, DizBjohN104 she said they were turning white, which indictates that they are not fertilized...however (something I forgot) it is normal to have a few eggs go unfertilized....maybe some will survive..we'll have to wait on cowlovergirl to see if they are all white or what...
