HELP!

I have an eclipse tank with an assortment of fish, as for babrs, i have 2 tiger, 2 green tiger, 1 gold, 1 cherry, and now i have discovered that my third green tiger is actually black. ???  what am i to do? i have a small aquatic gardens tank, about 2.5 gallons and i filled it up with my existing water.  this tank doesnt have a filter, but it csycles the water with a air pump it also has no heater.  the other barbs and my black molly were harassing my black barb, so i was forced to take her out and put her in my 2.5 gl tank.  i'm not sure if she is pregenant, but she is really fat and her scales look all messed up and she actually turned fully black.  my main worry is that she might freeze in the heaterless tank, what should i do?? be extremely specific and thank you for your responses.

I know this was posted a long time ago, but if the barb hasn't died yet (mine did this morning :'( ) then u should probably read this. I had my barbs in the same size tank a while ago, and they did fine with just an air pump if I did regular water changes. She is probably not pregnant, just stressed out ( like the other guy said, even though he was way to negative ). U should get a heater, there are ones that don't cost much that are submersible, mine was 10 bucks and works fine. Also, check the disease database to see if she is sick, if not, you may want to get someone to keep her company, since barbs usually do better in groups of 2 or more. Good luck! I hope the barb is okay!

It sounds like dropsy. Its pretty hard to cure a fish with that condition. Rosey barbs, goldfish, and I think a Paradise fish (red gouami) are cold water fish. Not exactly 100% sure on the Gourami. Do some research on Coldwater fish if your not going to use a heater. Most other fish commonly sold need a much higher temp and need to be in another tank. You will need some type of filtration even if its just a sponge filter on the end of your air hose youre using.
