Here are pics of Simon the beta. His fins are finally starting to grow out from the short period he was in the 75 and something (crayfish? gourami? barb?) attacked him. Ain't he purty?

wow beautiful...i cant find decent bettas here in any of my lfs's.
thier pitiful and faded and falling apart right before my eyes. its like...wow. if i ever find a good one though i plan on looking into getting one. simple but magnificent
I went up to the lfs guy who always helps me and said "look, I want a white betta, one that's in good shape. If you get one in, can you let me know?" He said sure, no problem. Then the next time I went in there he waved me over and had two for me to choose from. I was very happy.
He's a half-moon beta. when I first got him his fins and tail formed a perfect arc around his body. The split is from the attack from the unknown fish, it didn't used to be there. His fins are growing back out beautifully, though.
Now we can check out Simon properly.
