My betta died

My betta died today. A couple days ago, I woke up to find the girl gourami it shared a 10 with had chewed his fins up. I've kept him in the breeder net for the past couple days, but he died anyways.

umm... not to marginalize your loss or anything, but in future, to avoid such problems, it might be wise to not keep a betta with a gourami - labarynth fish do not good roomates make.

He was a really pretty pastel blue one too. I didn't really care for them when I first started out with fish, but then I saw one just like him at a fish store in one of the tanks, not a little cup. It looked so cool with its fins flowing. I couldn't get one at the time because I had a big mean boy gourami in my 10. I got a 30 when I moved into my dorm, so my old tank had an empty spot available. I've only had him about a month, but it still sucks.
