My Betta

I have a betta fish and everytime I feed him he attacks the food. It is hilarious!!!!!!! DOes anybody elses bettas do this???

Yeah, my Betta does this. I can hold food in my fingers, and he'll bite my fingers sometimes. It doesn't hurt, it's a fish... come on. lol

LOL just be sure their teeth don't getcha. Mine "sneek up" on their food and then attack it. My one female jumps out of the water to catch her food. I hate this because if I am not fast enough she ends up on the floor and I HATE touching fish. I have about 16 jarred juvies up in my bedroom and I love to hear them crunching on their pellets. Its like a symphony of bettas, and the cutest thing I have ever heard.

Haha its fun. On chinese new years I usually hang a little string down and put a little piece of lettuce with a pellet inside. And its fun watching it jump up and catch it.

yea i love to hand feed my bettas for this reason.they'er such voracious eaters.
