Hi all, I have recently posted a message about my pregnant platys...they are doing well!!

Anyway, my clown loaches...they are mad, I have two and would love to get more, but I am waiting until I have a bigger tank. I have notcied something strange- I have a fighter in with my tank

1 fighter male
5 platys (sunset, blue, mickey mouse, wag tail)
10 neon tetras
2 rummy nose tetras
2 clown loach

They are all getting along fine, the fighter gets a little annoyed at the red wag tail sometimes, but now he is used to them he generally leaves them alone. I put a small mirror on the outside of the tank and the fighter likes to look at himself for the first couple of days. Now, the clown loaches play in front of the mirror most of the day and seem to really enjoy this novelty! Has anyone else found this? I would be very interested to find out!

Seeking your wisdom!

Hi,

Do you think that its is better to get a long tank rather than a deep hexagonal tank for fish that will eventually grow larger (like clown loaches)? I think, if I was a big fish I would rather swim along ways, rather than deep, particularily if I was a bottom feeder...what do you think?
