Sry, but Im just excited. I thought that I was going to loose it but I geuss that it was just "shedding" (anyone know about that???) Now it looks to be doing great.

shedding is absolutely normal...all my leathers do it.

agree with aresgod, leathers will slough off skin from time to time...nothing to be worry about if the flesh looks healthy/firm

Ya know worries, mine does this every so often as well. They are extreamly hardy corals.

just make sure that you run carbon when they shed as leathers are notorious for releasing toxins especially during shedding.

Did you know that sea cucumbers also shed? Mine sheds like a snake about every 6 weeks or so........ not a molt per se but more like a snake sheds
