Well last 2 nights ago I fed my cichlids and noticed one of my unidentified female haps was acting a lil odd and wasn't feeding. I know she didn't have any eggs so that wasn't the issue. Then I thought since she gets picked on pretty hard she was just nervouse to come out and eat so I made sure some food got into her cave. Last night I wasn't home so I didn't see them at all. Well today I went and did a water change and replanted some of the grasses that got pulled up. well I came accross some dorsal spikes and started looking around for her and couldn't find her. I lokked in her cave and there she was nothing but bone except her head was almost complete. I'm pretty sure it was just the stress of getting picked on that was to blame for her death but I am shocked that all my other fish stripped her almost clean in one day. anyone else ever had that happen?
