My fish got beat up!!

Please help! My fish looks like he got beat up! His scales are all rubbed off and bleeding, his fins were all munched on and he's lying on his side desperetly trying to breath!! i segregated him but what else can i do??? is he going to die?!?!

Oooh... To new to help much. Good thing you separated him. I think theres a treatment you can ads to help him heal, just can't remember what it is. I know my melafix bottle has instructions on dosing to help heal fin rot and such, but not sure how it would feel on open wounds...
I'll keep him in my thoughts.

This does not sound good, so maybe the effort needs to be put into not having it happen again. What kind of fish got beat up and what type of fish was he in with?
