My fish is rubbing himself on the gravel

Hello i'm concern about my male Guppy. he tends to rub his left side on the gravel as if he is trying to scratch something is that side of illness, or what. and if so please give me a solution.

He probably has parasites. It could be anything from ich, to velvet, to bigger ones you can see with the naked eye.

What are your water parameters? And get a good look at him. Does he have white dots on him, as though he's been salted? Shine a flashlight on him. Does he look as though he's dusted with gold or copper? Do you see any tiny things hanging off him? Anything else unusual about his appearance or behavior?

i'm having sorta the same problem in my 90 gallon, usually my oscars rub sometimes, but the other day i noticed the guppies "they've been living in the tank for 2 weeks now" were rubbing themselves on the cord that goes to my water pump, so i started treating the tank for ich. but i was looking at my oscars and on their faces it looks like a circle made with little tiny holse/. about 7 at a time in a circle but it just around their face as far as i can tell right now. any ideas on what i sghould do about that? or what it is.

my tank has salt i do regular water changes etc. non of the other fish show these symptoms
