My gourami went from golden to brownish

I am very worried because two days after I brought my gold gourami home he turned from light yellowy-gold to a dark yellowish almost brown in some places. All of the water tests are fine and the blue gourami in the tank seems fine. They are both swimming normally and eating, but I am worried that if something is wrong with the gold one, the blue one mmight catch it. What should I do???? Please help my fishies!

just sounds like your gourami is settling in to his new home, i wouldnt worry, it sounds perfectly normal to me.

Like most fish, when the get home change color because they are not as stressed like they are in the LFS tanks. So phOOey may be right.
