My new 100 gallon tank.

Hello all I would just like to show everyone my new 100 gallon tank I just got. here is a couple pics. Any suggestions, maintence tips, or comments would be appreciated. I am running 2 whisper filters with this and it is stocked with a Jack Dempsy, Jaguar, and a long nose fish I can't remember the name.

I like your fish. I assume you got it used. whats up with the duct tape???

Yes I did get it used it came with everything except the rocks and display piece in tank. I paid $300 is that a good deal? As far as the duct tape it seems to be holding the molding around the tank together I need to find some way to cover it up but I am happy so far. Only thing is I can't get the long nose fish to eat. I'm wondering what other fish I can put in there that won't get eaten by the current fish.

that long nose fish is a gar. i dont have time too look up the species but im pretty sure they take only live foods and hes gonna get rather large.

its a shortnose gar they get over 2 feet

Congrats on the new tank... it's a nice size, I like long, short tanks.
