I just got a bubble tip anemone, and he is so far doing great in QT. My question is, I fed him brine shrimp today and he took it, but now it is turning from his natural beige/ brown color to a greenish color, and he looks a little stringy, not the normal bubble tips it usually has. Is this normal? Thanks

I would take him off the brine shrimp and replace it with something like Mysis shrimp, or small pieces of fish or shrimp. As for the color, the anemone might be losing its symbolic algae and might be dying off...or it could just be adjusting. As for the thin tentacles they should usually shrink and reinflate every so often, I personally wouldnt worry about it.

symbiotic not symbolic...some bubble tips are green, something to consider....i think it could just be the adjustment period but i have never kept an anemone nor do i know a lot about them
