My new betta, Bu

This is my new betta, Bu.
He is kind of nasty, can't be a good neighbour to any other fish. So he's just on his own in a 5 gal.
But he's really pretty, don't you think?

The background was a pregant female guppy... i just thought she would be okay, but Bu kept flaring at her. and that was how i managed to take that pic!

and you can't believe it... i got Bu and his "girlfriend" at the local fish club auction for $6...
yes. $6CAD for a pair!!
The girl is also royal blue in color, but i don't think she's a half moon.

Well I live in Canada, and I doubt I could get a pair of betta (male being a half moon!!) for 6$ locally!
I'd definitely have to order from a US site to even get a half moon male betta, paying the high price they reach !
