My new betta tank

I set up my new betta tank yesterday. I havent got the mini heaterstat yet but it will fit in nicely.

Does this look okay, any suggestions if not.

p.s. The Betta in the tank isnt real, it's a paper cut out from a leaflet we recieved in the mail. Just wanted to see how it looked with a betta in!

Looks like a great tank! How big is it? I know bettas like some "headroom" at the top of the tank, but it looks like you should fill the tank up a little more. If there is room under the hood for him to have a centimetre or two, that would be fine.

to be honest i dont know exactly how big it is. It was a goldfish starter kit, you know the 'everything included' kind, and it didn't say how many gallons. It measures roughly 13 x 18 x 28 cm.

The volume of the tank is:
Litres: 6.55
US Gallons: 1.73
UK Gallons: 1.44

That would be way, way, way too small for a goldfish, but it will be fine for your betta

The kit actualy said it was for two goldfish! Crazy!
