CM- yes it was planned to be a mbuna tank but now i am having some second thoughts and im thinking about going with something different.....but im still undecided..= / ...and ya i know about the plant =]

well goin to fish store today to take in my large discus and look at some fish possibilities and will update some thoughts about stocking when i get home later!!

This is in the 55 g, right?

I'm not sure, but I think that's probably too small for fronts (they'll get to 15" per Cichlid-Forums.com) long term -- and too small for the sevs long term (though I assume your plan is still to get rid of them rather than mix African and SA, right?)

What else is in there? I thought I saw something that wasn't identified...

The tank looks great, though :)

Here are the frontosa profiles:

Trets are much more elongated and usually have a bit of a yellow hue to them. These look like Fronts to me. Good looking fish, but not a good long term home for them.

Keep up on the WCs to make sure they don't become stunted over time. Time is on your side, these guys grow real slow.

thanks everyone!!! i know that thgis is not a long term home for them and yes i plan on moving them when they get larger including the severums... and what you probably saw was eithera flying fox or a CAE that i couldnt get out of the tank...
