Okay, so my digi cam does NOT have a moving target setting like my old one used to. It's nearly impossible to get good shots of my fish. After about 30 or so shots, here's the best one I could get of my new Pearl Gourami!

Currently just pushing 2 inches! Can anyone tell if it's male or female?

Beautiful gourami!
As for the pic...try taking some with the flash on. ;)

As for sexing the gourami...well...if it's anything like sexing the gouramies from the three-spot family (males: longer, more pointed dorsal fin; females: shorter, more rounded dorsal fin), then I'd say that you probably have a female.

Looks like a female to me as well. In addition to the shape of the dorsal fin, male pearl gouramis get a nice red chest area, and females don't (not sure if 2" is big enough for it to redden yet, but since it appears to be a female it shouldn't anyways).
