My oscar!

This is a pic of my albino oscar for all of you who were asking for a pic of him. This includes you Cichlid man. I know he is only in a 29 gallon, BUT he is only small and I am not sure of what fish are going in what tank yet. I got a new 55 gallon long Saturday. I got it setup, and I am going for the 5 day cycle with a few plants and all the equipment setup. I am going to put my africans in there. I have crushed coral, but all that is for a diferent topic in ratemytank. Whatcha think of my o?*thumbsup2? *thumbsdow ?


By the way, who knows how to make a picture smaller with out cutting out half the picture? I want to use this as my avatar.

open up the picture in paint...then click on "image" at the top and then click "sketch/skew" then lower the percentages on the sketch part to make the pic smaller.

nice oscar. i dont really like albinos...but yours is cool. how big is he? how bout a full tank shot?

Sure, I can try to get a full tank shot..i dont know why, but he has black on his fins, and dont say its stress, because I have had him in almost perfect water conditions all his life, except tank size..he even had it when he was alone in a 40 gallon,I think he is a mix of albino and tiger.

its either an albino red oscar or an albino tiger oscar...so yeah, i guess its an albino tiger oscar

What else is in this tank? Looks pretty cramped for that size of a fish. Is that a pacu at the bottom? Maybe a 29g would be better with some nice community fish?

yeah, that is a pacu "sigh". I have only had it for a week and have had plans to sel it to a friend for a long time.I only got it to sell to him. The oscar is the only fish that can take the pacus aggresiveness and give it back..the pacu grows unusually fast, and I didnt expect that..He was 3 inches when I bought him, now in 4 1/2 inches in a week.i dont like him and dont want him..dont worry, I know they get 3 feet long, but I am defineately not keeping him..

I didnt add him in my sig, because I would not get left alone for having a pacu in a 29. Dont worry, he is either sold, or given away.
