MY RETURN TO CICHLIDS

ive been trying to decide on what i want to put in my 46g. and the other day, i found it. at PETSMART of all places. ! BEHOLD ! I GIVE U,
PARATILAPIA POLLENI -aka- starry night cichlid

these pics were taken 2hrs. after bringing the lil guy home, so its color is way off. but u can see the bright sparkling on its side, its going to be absolutely beautiful as it matures.

Nice fish, but can get really big....almost 30cm. You may need a pretty large tank to acomodate it. I hear these also are pretty expensive.

Every once in a while Petsmart or Petco will have a cool fish that I have the need to buy. I got my Johanni at Petco and he's one of my favorite fish. I like your fish though. Good luck with him.

Most of the tilapias are pretty hardy also & accept any sort of food. Good Luck!

this guy is just pushing the 3in. mark, just barely, and was $10. yea, i CAN NOT believe i found this at petsmart. its like going to a used car lot and finding a brand new lexus for $500.

nice one! hmmm, i had the same kind of luck at walmart the other day(although i didnt buy anything, i was pricing their carbon charcoal for a filter im trying to build.) they had about 9 different types of africans ive never seen before hehe. it was kinda cool they were in good shape, and the guy was changing the water.
