My Weather Loach is Swimming upside down??

Last night my weather loach jumped out of the tank and I found him this morning behind the bookshelf that the tank is on. He was not looking good but is alive. He is not really moving around the tank and when he does it is upside down. He appears to be just hanging there. I gave some stress coat to the tank and also removed all the cat hair from hair with my hands. If I put my hand near him he does dart away but is swimming in a weird upside down way. Anyone have any ideas what I should do?

turn the lights off and just leave him alone...he should recover on his own...to prevent this from happening again...make sure that you have a tank cover so he wont escape again...generally its not a good idea to have topless aquariums when keeping loaches and eels...they are known escape artists..
