Feeding the little piggies last night and I noticed something very odd. I have had the fry in the growout tank for over three months now and never seen him before. He is without a doubt the alpha of the tank. Keeping only a select few fry bigger than him with him, and all the rest banished to the other side of the tank.

Not real sure what to make of him right now. Very interesting is about all I know. I'm selling him to the LFS, going to hang on to this oddball. Some one mentioned in another fourm about tring to breed him and attemt to bring the gene responsible out more. Im not much of a genetics whiz, but it sounds easy enough. :)

C-man those discus do look cool. I had a guy on another board offer me $100 for the one fry. But alas, as soon as my wife saw it she said we were keeping it. lol Not that I disagree with her.

EDIT: I think one of the things that I like so much about it is the fact that the black is so uniform. That and the blue on the fins are still present. Looks like somebody took it, and just dipped its back half in a bottle of ink.
