Ok, I saw these very neat freshwater fish tonight. They were about brown, about 6" long and they were babies, I know that much. They have an elongated body that's first reminded me of an eel or a mudskipper. The two pectoral fins are not as see-throughy as most fins on fish, they're more fleshy. According to my fish guy, they are the most advanced fish because they actually have lungs and a diaphragm, but also have working gills. He told me the name, I read the name, and I thought I had burned it into my head, but by the time I was halfway home I had forgotten!! I know it starts with a p. and it's the scientific name. I keep wanting to say plecostomus, LOL, but it's something like that. Does anyone know what this fish is?
