Nano fish suggestions

I am going to wait for my tank to finish the last week or so of cycling first but does anyone have any suggestions on a good 10g nano fish?

I see from your other post that you have a seahorse in the tank.

In that case, you can possibly get a small goby. Other fish will terrorize the seahorse and outcompete it for food.

That was what i was thinking. I was also thinking about a firefish. Could that be ok??

yes probably.....Usually seahorses are kept in a species specific tank as they have different requirements than most reef tanks....lower water flow, target feeding etc.

cool i would love a firefish they look so cool.
?? i didnt know you had to target feed seahorses; i just pour in some frozen brine shrimp and it swims all around the tank eaten em all up.

looking at your other thread, dont you have an unknown fry in the tank already? I'd wait and see what it grows out to be!

I'm definately going to wait and see what it is but it might not even survive the cycling. And if it does, it might grow into a fish that is too big for a ten gallon.

Yea just rest and read up more on seahorses if you do plan on keeping it long term. If not get rid of it now and go get a firefish once your done cycling.

yeh they eat mostly mysis shrimp and i dont have much of a reliable source of live ones so i might have to get rid of it.
