Nano Planted Tank Substrate

So im looking around for the substrates that will be best to use in my nano tank that will have live plants.

which would be the best substrate for the plants + shrimp?


Flourite, Eco-Complete, or Fluval Stratum (Plant/Shrimp)?

I know a lot of people like ADA soil, but honestly I cannot justify buying that for a small nano tank~

What kind of light are you going to use?

Well this is going to be done in the fluval spec, so its default LED lighting for now... ive heard good and bad things about it we'll see though. I might upgrade it to a larger wattage if required.
