Nano Tank and Temps?

So I've been reading that most reef tanks need to be kept at 78 F.

Its been really hot here recently and I notice that my FW tanks will shoot up to about 82-83 F if I dont have the fans blowing on them constantly.

Can nano reef tanks be kept above 78 F?

it is possible though not ideal...the normal temp range on the reef can reach as much as the high 80s but for the health and longevity of your animals and the prevention of rapid pollutant and algae build up lower temps are better

Ya what he said! You can always purchase a chiller if you are really interested in having a reef tank.
