Need a GOOD FILTER!!

Hi i have a 20g tank and i need a good filter that is not too expensive, im from england have not really found a place that sells aquaclear filter. so please need so some on where i can get that filter or some other good filter.

Ive heard that Fluval filters are quite good. But it really depends on how much you want to spend.

What type of tank is the 20g going to be set up as?
Are you looking for HOB or canister or in-tank, etc?
Have you considered looking online for deals?

HOB = Hang on back filter, as it would hang on the back of your tank.
ex. HOB FILTER

Canister filter = a filter that sits below the tank that has a containment chamber for water to flow thru, and then pushed back into the tank.
ex. CANISTER FILTER

I had some problems understanding the acronyms myself when I first started posting here

For a 20G I suggest

It says it is for a 50G but it really is right for a 20G. Is your 20G a long, standard, or high? (the dimensions)

If you have a stand I really recommend a canister filter. I recently upgraded to the magnum 350 and it made a HUGE difference.

only a few second late. Well no probs. Yup Bio wheel filters are very good. I have one on my 20 gallon tank.

it is a standard 20g upgrading to a 30g hope fully

if you'll be upgrading, i'd go with a canister. you really cant filter too much. and if you do go with the canister you wont have to keep getting bigger filters.

If a cansiter filter is the same as a external filter then there are lots in england!
If you don't want to pay too much money just look on ebay.
