I need to find a sponge filter for a 10 gallon tank. I have looked and looked, but I still don't really know any good brands or anything.

Just need this for a betta tank I will be working on soon.

They're all mostly the same. I like the kind that is a round column. I think I've got a couple of Hydor ones, and they seem to work well.

I don't like the corner filters with the filter floss, but sponge filters have done fine for me. I've also had bad experiences with internal filters. Anything that fish can get stuck in or behind tend to be bad news.

Airline tubing is one size, as far as I know. Sometimes pumps will come with airline tubing and an airstone. Check the box/description.

The airstone can be any size. I personally like the wooden ones better. When they get clogged, you can simply dry them and sand them. The "stone" ones get clogged and then need to be replaced.
