Are you good with DIY?  All you need is a good saw, 2x4 and you can make an awesome stand for cheap!

This dude was advertising his woodworking skills and selling stands and hood combos.  They look very nice.  But like I said, you can make your own 150 gallon stand for <100 $ and it should still look decent enough.  It depends on what would you chose also.

For 150 gallons, I would definitely get 4x4s for the leg of the stand.  But check out some of these DIY plans and see what you think.

Here is a stand made by someone at reefcentral.

It is for a 150 gallon and it may help you.

This site has pics of an awsome stand for a 600 gal. tank. It looks simple and inexpensive. Not the most beautiful thing, but it`s one of the cooler ideas i`ve seen on the net.

Wow.  I wish I had a 600 gallon.  It seems like huge cichlids but he has to aquascape it more or get better lighting.

Lighting for a 600 gallon? I don`t know what they use, but it must have an impact on the electric bill every month. I was thinking of doing somthing similar to thier stand, but more along the lines of a 100 gal. tank instead.
