need advice on chinese algae eater

i just bought a new chinese algae eater for my betta's 10 gallon tank. my question is how many wafers do i feed it a day? and will a power filter be enough for it for oxyegenation of the water?

I feed mine about 2 a day. (hikari sinking wafers) they seem to prefer these over the algae wafers.

filters clean the water, the surface air oxygenates the water. As long as the filter is flowing the water enough, you should not have an oxygenation problem.
