Need bottom feeder for 6 gallon

I have a fairly new (setup for 1 month) 6 gallon which currently has 4 neons in it. I need something to cleanup leftovers. What would work best for this size? I thoughtabout kuhlis, but would like something I can actually see once in awhile. Any suggestions?

Kuhlis would be overstocking the tank. Perhaps a snail could be your clean-up/bottom feeder.

shrimp or maybe corys. i have two little cory cats in my 5 gal and they do fine

i would say a few ghost shrimp or one...repeat ONE mystery snail

Let me make a correction to my post above. Total water volume of this tank is 8.7 gallons, actual "living" space is around 6 gallons, the other 2.7 gallons is a separate compartment housing the filter and pump assembly.

IMO thats still not big enough for much of any tankmates...I'd go for the apple snail.
