After years of not having a tank, my girlfriend and I decided to get one. As of now we are going with rainbow fish and have some boesemani and reds. We are looking for a bottom feeder or three from that area of the world in the mold of a cory. If there are any colorful guys, that would be ideal. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks much.

what size tank is this?
how long has this tank been running?

and most cories out there are not that colorful but there are panda corys, which are very attractive or peppered cories which have an interesting pattern.

Sorry, forgot to include that info. It is a fifty gallon tank and it has been up for a month and a half or so. I am looking to add fish that are from the Australia, New Guinea area of the world. It doesn't need to be a cory, I was just hoping for something that looked cool and would spend a good chunk of the time on the bottom since the other guys seem to have the middle and top of the tank taken care of.

There are "green lazer" cories or something like that... hard to find and expensive. Maybe orange too, I'm not sure. I would just check out what cories you can get, and pick whatever you like the best.

These cories may not be all that colorful, but the pattern they have on them make them very cool looking.......Julii cory or Schwarz cory.
