Need help with a coral ID

I ordered a torch coral for my 44 gal, I got it in last night and got it it situated, and didnt get to see it till today when I got home it was shriveled up last night and the lights were off I don't know much at all about coral ID's but this doesnt look like the picture or the one my friend has Thanks for any help in advance

My noob guess is a frogspawn... but again I'm a noob. Someone else will give a better ID soon I bet.

Is the picture ur coral? If not we can't give a ID with out seeing the actual coral..

I agree with unwritten law that the picture you posted looks like frogspawn. They are both Euphyllia (in this case divisa rather than glabrescens).

I can see tentacles with multiple "blobs" on them... definitely a frogspawn.

I don't know what you expected to get but I know frogspawn can be pretty aggressive so be careful on placement.
