Have setup an aquarium after about 4 years away from the hobby. I once had 9 at one time...well, you know how it is. I have 4 small angelfish and would like them to grow as quickly as possible. Would like to hear from experienced hands as to what to feed them to get the best growth. Am feeding flake food, dried tubifex ( in bottle ), and some brine shrimp now. Any other ideas ? thanks.

Mine all love bloodworms. I usually feed a mix of flake and bloodworms to mine. Live foods would really help them grow (brine shrimp, grindal worms if they're small, live blackworms if they're larger). As always, plenty of room and frequent water changes help them grow strong and fast.

Yep...ditto what Lotus said. Good quality nutritious food and good water quality are what generally make them grow up big and healthy. Be sure your temperature isn't too hot or too cold also (say in the 75 to 80F range). My angelfish is a big pig...he'll pretty much eat anything I toss in the tank :)
